As a Roman Catholic school, Everest Academy aims to help students grow in their spiritual life. We offer solid instruction on Catholic faith and morals, as well as opportunities for confession, daily reception of the Eucharist, and special all-school Masses.
Our students also learn the basics of prayer and grow in their personal relationship with Christ, benefiting from the closeness of the Legionary chaplain and the faith-filled witness of their teachers.
As the “source and summit of the Christian life,” the Celebration of the Eucharist is a central part of school life at Everest Academy. Students are encouraged to participate in various aspects of the Mass. This active participation helps young people live out this sacred mystery and grow in faith.
Fr. Michael holds class masses every day except Monday. All-school Masses are held every Friday at 8:10 am, as well as on feast days and other special occasions. There is also morning Mass offered at 7:10 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the school chapel, except on days when there is an all-school Mass, and is open to all who would like to attend.
A "Teaching Mass" is held monthly for the Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten classes at 8:05 am (directly after drop-off). Please contact the school office for more information on upcoming dates.
Visits to the Eucharist
The Blessed Sacrament is reserved in the school's chapel. Students are encouraged to visit the chapel to meet and speak with Jesus. Adoration every Thursday.
Sacrament of Reconciliation
The Sacrament of Reconciliation deepens our relationship with Christ and strengthens us in our disposition to live a life of virtue and love. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available daily on request and weekly. Each class has the opportunity to participate in the sacrament of confession once per month.
